Week 3
  • Play AMONG US and GOOSE GOOSE DUCK together with your group members or with other groups
  • Compile the observations of both games in Google Slide for each group:
    • good visual aesthetics findings from these games
    • visual elements and interactions that could use improvement
    • playful experiences that occurred in both games


    Week 4
    • Each group to present their AMONG US and GOOSE GOOSE DUCK game play observation:
      • good visual aesthetics findings from these games
      • visual elements and interactions that could use improvement
      • playful experiences that occurred in both games
    • After presentation, based of the initial findings, continue with the design process to determine the best stylisation for your re-make
      • consider the project's limitation where the new art direction strategy does not alter the original narrative plots and game mechanics
    Task this week:
    • Determine the best stylisation to fit with AMONG US narrative for your group to work on
    • Compile the factors for stylisation range in Google Slide
      • Refer to the content in lecture for details of factors to consider

    PROPOSAL
    The crewmates in Among Us' multiverse are all Australian kangaroos. Using a kangaroo costume or disguise, the impostor, a spider, has infiltrated the spaceship where the kangaroos are hiding. The spaceship crashes due to sabotage by the imposter(s). As engineers, all of the crew members must repair a spacecraft that has crashed in order to return to Australia.

    CHARACTER DESIGN
    We decided to each create a character design and cast our votes for the best idea after having a group discussion. For this, I created two character designs. A single Aussie There's a cute bear character with an Australian-themed hunting and tracking weapon, and there's another endearing cat mercenary character with a revolver.





    First presentation and idea proposal



    Then they told me to design the lobby with these elements in it
    • set in spaceship
    • chairs, tables
    • mini pub
    • radioactive elements
    • metal, steel floor
    So i designed a lobby with blue colour and radioactive elements in it




    Next presentation with map design and environment design and updated character design


    After that they told me to create a new lobby design with yellowing orange colours and modern Australian spaceship theme

    So i redesigned the lobby a little bit


    And electrical

    Then I designed 3 different variations of the icon design for the app icon
