Digital Photography and Imaging

Digital photography and imaging task 1 / exercises

Week 1

We had to play the bezier game to get familiarized with the pen tool, I finished the game with 30 nodes left

Get inspiration from Pinterest and write about any 3 of your most liked Adobe Photoshop works.

This looks like a cool old Japanese poster from the 90s. I like the color contrast and the retro style of art. .
I like the spray paint street artstyle, It looks as if someone vandalized the original Mona Lisa portrait and looks kinda funny and beautiful at the same time
This is a unique style of art that's made of triangles and other shapes assorted with color but we can already guess who the famous person in this portrait is although a face is not identifiable

Week 2 / Collage design

To create the collage, I used some old magazine covers and pages. cut it out and pasted them in a book as instructed by the lecturer

I'll show you the pieces I cut out with different colors

RED - Main subject (A girl walking with an umbrella)
BLUE - Background (A page with different shades of blue)
YELLOW - Secondary subject (A hand that depicts mother nature)
GREEN - Secondary background (forest and leaves with fireflies)
PINK -  Ground (I chose a picture that almost looks like a wet ground)
LIGHT BLUE - Ground ( I used many different pieces to make it look more appealing)

 Final Result

Week 3 / Digital collage
This project is to create a digital collage using the pictures given by the lecturer. we were all given the same set of a few images and tasked to create three different compositions.

First composition
I wanted a dark, dull theme to this composition where the lady is looking at the person that's sitting on top of the wall next to the building. I used the sea rocks kinda thingy picture that was given as for the background.

But in the end, I wasn't satisfied with this one so I dropped it completely and made a new collage with a much more brighter and fun background and interesting cutout pictures

Final composition

Week 5 / double exposure
Double exposure photography is a technique that layers two different exposures on a single image, combining two photographs into one

Double exposure practice with given images

My own double exposure
